We are currently seeking dedicated and skilled Service Technician (Millwright) - Pumps & Motors for our Edmonton branch. Role Description Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, the Service Technician is responsible for: · Repairs or replacements of mechanical components & machinery · Alignment of pumps and motors · Rigging and slinging · Troubleshooting mechanical machinery · Travel to customer sites to assess issues and support installation/commissioning · Testing and inspection of equipment. Qualifications · At least 5 years of industrial mechanical experience, including at least 1 year working with pumps and motors. · Trade certificate (Journeyman Millwright) preferred but not required. · Ability to work in an environment where chemicals and solvents are used. · Clean driving record and valid driver's license for operating a company vehicle. Driver's abstract may be required during the selection process. · Valid passport for travel to the USA for training. · Ownership of hand tools. · Committed to safety in the shop and customer sites. · Self-motivated and able to work independently, meet deadlines, and progress through daily tasks. · Communication skills in English for customer interactions. · As a service technician, you will be expected to move and handle equipment, tools, and materials. This may involve lifting objects weighing up to 50lbs, to performing physical tasks throughout the workday. It is essential that candidates possess the necessary physical capabilities to fulfill these job requirements effectively and safely. · Willingness to work overtime when needed for repairs that extend beyond regular business hours. · Forklift license, H2S Alive, and/or first aid certification would be an asset, but not mandatory.
