Job summary

Role Overview: The BIM/VDC Coordinator supports the execution of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) across all projects. This role ensures accurate model development, coordination, and adherence to BIM standards while supporting project teams in delivering high-quality outcomes. The Coordinator works closely with project managers, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to maintain model integrity, facilitate coordination, and support project success. Key Responsibilities Model Development & Coordination Create, manage, and update BIM models in Revit across all project phases Coordinate models across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines Produce model outputs including drawings, schedules, and material take-offs Ensure models meet BIM Execution Plan (BEP) requirements and project standards Clash Detection & Issue Resolution Perform clash detection using Navisworks and coordination tools Identify, track and support resolution of model conflicts Participate in coordination meetings and present issues Ensure timely resolution of coordination items Standards, Compliance & Quality Control Follow company BIM standards, templates, and workflows Maintain model accuracy, data integrity, and version control Support QA/QC processes and validation checks Document model updates and as-built conditions Project & Stakeholder Coordination Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, subcontractors, and clients Support model exchanges and data environments (Autodesk Construction Cloud) Track approvals, deliverables, and project milestones Maintain organized BIM documentation BIM Process Support & Continuous Improvement Support BIM workflow implementation and best practices Contribute to improving processes, templates, and efficiency Stay current with BIM technologies and industry standards Qualifications Education & Experience Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field 3+ years of BIM/VDC experience in a construction environment Technical Skills Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360, and AutoCAD Understanding of BIM standards, coordination workflows, and MEP systems Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications Core Competencies Attention to detail and technical accuracy Problem-solving and analytical thinking Communication and collaboration Time management and organization
