*Day-to-Day Responsibilities* · You will make sure our rooms and public areas are always at their best following our brand standard protocols for cleanliness · Help guests ? you?re happy to help if someone needs anything from a toothbrush to directions · Keep your Supervisor updated on room service progress and alert them to any repairs needed · Safety awareness ? follow our established safety protocols and procedures at all times and wear personal protective equipment as required by the brand · Be organized ? keep on top of supplies and amenities and always try to minimize waste · Reunite items with owners ? and log and lost and found property · Monitor and control supplies and amenities and work to minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping · Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service · May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects · Other duties as required ? unexpected moments when we have to pull together to get a task done *What We Need from You* · This is a physical role and you?ll be on your feet most of the day · You might need to bend and kneel to complete some activities · Basic reading, writing and math skills · A flexible attitude towards shifts · An attitude of caring, wanting to make a positive difference and build genuine connections with our guests and team members · A willingness to develop the knowledge and skills to perform your role in such a way as to give our guests the confidence that they can trust you to help and support them during their stay Job Types: Permanent, Part-time Pay: $17.62-$18.81 per hour Benefits: * On-site parking Experience: * Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
