We're looking for an outgoing, motivated person who enjoys meeting new people, building relationships, and making a difference in the lives of seniors and their families. This is primarily a field-based role where you'll represent Home Instead throughout Halifax Regional Municipality and Lunenburg County. As a Home Care Consultant, you'll connect with healthcare professionals, retirement communities, and local organizations while helping families learn about the support we provide. What You'll Do Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, community partners, and referral sources. Develop and execute community outreach, sales, and marketing plans in collaboration with Home Instead leadership. Lead, coach, and support the Client Care team by setting priorities, monitoring performance, and fostering accountability to achieve individual and team goals. Manage the sales pipeline by monitoring key performance indicators, identifying opportunities for growth, and implementing strategies to improve results. Represent Home Instead at networking events, community presentations, health fairs, and other outreach opportunities. Conduct service inquiries and care consultations as needed. Collaborate closely with the office team to ensure a seamless client experience from initial inquiry through ongoing care. Participate in the on-call rotation and provide leadership support for escalations as required. We're Looking For Someone Who Is Confident meeting new people. Self-motivated and comfortable working independently. Has excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Passionate about helping seniors and their families. Comfortable working in a primarily field-based role. Qualifications Experience in customer service, sales, community outreach, healthcare, or a related field. Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required. Experience working with seniors is an asset. Why Home Instead?
