Role Description The Assembly Line Worker is a full-time, on-site position based at Homecraft Saunas’ facility in Surrey, BC. This role is responsible for assembling sauna heaters and related components according to established procedures, safety standards, and production targets. Daily tasks include operating basic machinery and tools, positioning and fastening parts, performing visual checks, and ensuring products meet quality specifications before moving to packing or shipping. The Assembly Line Worker will follow work instructions, maintain a clean and organized workstation, report equipment or product issues to supervisors, and collaborate with team members to keep the production line running efficiently. The role may also include assisting with inventory of parts, loading and unloading materials, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor. Qualifications Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment, including basic Machine Operation and use of Hand Tools. Experience or aptitude in Quality Control, including visual inspection and adherence to product standards. Skills in Packing and handling finished goods to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient preparation for shipment. Clear Communication skills to follow instructions, document issues, and work effectively with supervisors and coworkers. Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or warehouse environments is an asset. Capacity to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail. Strong focus on safety, reliability, punctuality, and working as part of a diverse team. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; on-the-job training will be provided.
