Job summary
Job Purpose This is supervisory clinical and technical work responsible for diagnostic radiography services in one or more facilities in an area/zone. Work involves supervising, coordinating, and overseeing operational functions of the service and providing expertise to staff. Qualifications Must be registered with the New Brunswick Regulatory College of Medical Radiation Technologists. Minimum of three (3) years progressive related experience and demonstrated leadership ability. Ability to attend work on a regular basis. Ability to perform the duties of the position. Good work record. Key Responsibilities The Supervisor - Medical Radiological Technology is responsible for: Supervise day to day operations including scheduling of staff Triage, schedule patients and assign work. Participate in performance appraisals. Train and mentor new staff and students; support staff educational opportunities. Provide clinical expertise to staff, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders. Assist with development and implementation of policy and procedures and ensure adherence. Manage inventory and supplies and liaise with vendors and purchasing department.
