Job summary

Job Purpose The Physiotherapy Supervisor and/or Clinical Leader is responsible for supervising the provision of physiotherapy services Qualifications Must be registered and a member in good standing with the College of Physiotherapist of New Brunswick and eligible for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Must have progressive related work experience one year in which leadership ability and competency as a physiotherapist have been demonstrated. Ability to attend work on a regular basis. Ability to perform the duties of the position. Good work record. Supervision KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Monitor staff cover, assign and review work, participate in recruitment Provide staff orientation and coordinate staff development programs Order, monitor and manage inventory, source and recommend equipment and prepare new equipment proposals Develop and/or ensure compliance with standards, policies and procedures Coordinate or participate in student placements Perform the work of a physiotherapist And/Or Clinical Leadership Ensure services provided by professionals are consistent with the professional scope of practice and regional policies and procedures Provide clinical support, guidance, and advice to professionals and to management regarding clinical practice. Requirements
