Job summary
Our client is seeking a Senior Cloud Technology Architect to support a large-scale enterprise technology modernization initiative. The successful candidate will provide architecture leadership, cloud strategy expertise, and technical guidance to support the evolution of complex IT environments and the deployment of modern digital capabilities. The Cloud Technology Architect will be responsible for: Developing detailed work plans, schedules, and technical deliverables. Creating enterprise and technical architecture artifacts using recognized architecture frameworks and methodologies. Assessing current-state technology environments, processes, tools, and policies. Conducting gap analyses and defining future-state architecture requirements. Developing migration strategies and implementation roadmaps for enterprise IT transformation initiatives. Reviewing technical solutions and designs to ensure adherence to architecture standards and best practices. Evaluating architecture impacts, dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies. Performing technology assessments and recommending alternative solutions, methodologies, and approaches. Designing scalable, secure container platform architectures, including resource management and networking models. Developing architecture models for CI/CD pipelines to support automated build, test, and deployment processes. Designing Infrastructure-as-Code and platform automation strategies using technologies such as Terraform, Helm, or similar tools. Assessing system performance requirements and recommending improvements to hardware, software, and infrastructure architectures. The successful candidate must possess: Secret level security clearance Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline Minimum 5 years of experience developing IT modernization strategies and enterprise architecture plans using TOGAF, TOGAF ADM, or comparable architecture frameworks. Minimum 5 years of experience serving as a Technical Architect on large-scale enterprise initiatives involving the introduction of new capabilities into existing IT environments. Minimum 5 years of experience creating architecture artifacts and documentation. Minimum 5 years of experience identifying technical risks and developing mitigation strategies. Minimum 5 years of experience performing technology trend analysis, impact assessments, and future-state planning. Experience developing migration approaches, implementation roadmaps, and transformation strategies for enterprise technology environments.
