Summary: The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for managing facility maintenance software programs, Purchase orders and matching of external invoicing, creating and maintaining work orders when required, organizing maintenance documentation per location, taking all warranty opportunities and issuing purchase orders for work completed outside of company shops. Responsibilities: In the position of Maintenance Coordinator, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Must adhere to Miller Waste Systems safety protocols and be familiar with the Occupational Health & Safety Act. Manage, support and assist in training technician staff on the opening and closing of work orders using fleet maintenance software. Assist in monitoring and setting up MWS preventative maintenance equipment schedules for existing and new equipment. Manage and follow up with 3rd party service and preventative maintenance contracts and agreements. Organize and maintain facility equipment maintenance documentation to ensure complete and accurate records. Issue purchase orders for each location regarding outsourced services and parts when required. Monitor and address issues with Geotab GPS devices on equipment. Ensure all eligible warranty claims are identified, documented, and processed in accordance with policy. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Competencies & Qualifications: Previous experience in a Maintenance Coordinator/Service Advisor role preferred. Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. Strong computer proficiency – Microsoft Office, Outlook, previous Fleet Management System experience preferred. Understanding of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and employee responsibilities under it. Valid G Class driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
