Role: Software Developer (Python) Industry: Elite FinTech Compensation: Up to CAD $200k + bonus Location: Montreal (Hybrid) What you'll be working on: Developing and supporting backend systems that power advanced platforms and analytical tools capable of processing large-scale datasets in real time. Building scalable software solutions with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability. Collaborating with product teams, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into robust, production-ready features. Contributing to a well-engineered codebase by writing clean, efficient code that supports long-term system growth and stability. What we're looking for: A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Strong commercial experience developing production-grade applications using Python. Full-stack development experience is beneficial, with React experience being a plus. Previous exposure to trading or FinTech environments is advantageous but not essential. A genuine curiosity for technology and a desire to stay up to date with modern frameworks, tools, and engineering best practices.
