We are proud to partner with our client, a boutique law firm in downtown Vancouver, in their search for a Director of HR & Operations. The culture of the firm is professional and positive, with a focus on exemplary client service, and in this role you will lead and work alongside a collegial and dedicated group of people. Responsibilities: Oversee human resources, financial management, information technology, facilities, marketing, and administrative policies and procedures Provide strategic leadership on HR and staffing matters throughout the firm Nurture a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collegiality Oversee HR operations, such as employee benefits, recruitment and onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding Oversee IT systems and equipment, including making recommendations for enhancements as needed and assisting with software and hardware rollouts Liaise with third-party vendors and consultants Maintain facilities and liaise with contractors and vendors as needed Manage insurance matters, such as renewals and claims as necessary Chair and facilitate various management meetings Serve as Chief Privacy Officer Oversee planning of events and seasonal initiatives Other duties as may be required to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the firm Requirements: 5+ years of management experience, ideally in a mid-size to large law firm Experience with ADP, Netdocs, and ActionStep an asset Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills Compensation: In addition to a collaborative and collegial work environment, our client offers a robust and comprehensive compensation package including health and dental coverage, retirement program, and annual salary in the range of $135,000 to $185,000 per year (depending on individual qualifications and experience).
