ROLE The Finance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing, coordinating and administering the financial records, systems and processes of the St. Marys Healthcare Foundation, including accounting, bookkeeping, record keeping, banking and all related financial and Foundation administration. REQUIRED EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION(S) * Completion of a two-year post-secondary Business Finance Diploma from an accredited Ontario Community College or Registered Private College. REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE(S) * Experience in managing and reconciling donor contributions, generating tax receipts and complying with legal and regulatory standards for charitable donations. * Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including EXCEL, WORD and Outlook * A good understanding of general accounting elements * Able to interact with a wide variety of clients in order to meet their needs * A high degree of discretion and maturity in handling confidential information * Must be very detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills. * Must be solution-driven with a constant desire to make things more effective and efficient. * Should be service-oriented and professional with all levels of staff and external stakeholders. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Highly organized and resourceful; able to handle multiple tasks within short timelines * Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities * Strong interpersonal skills * Strategic thinker * Goal-setting and achievement oriented * Able to manage competing deadlines DESIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE(S) & EDUCATION * Previous experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge (FE), Keela and Aplos an asset * Previous experience with annual financial audits ADDITIONAL PERKS AT HPHA * Collaborative Team Environment * Diverse Committees and Engagement Opportunities OUR COMMUNITIES Our communities are small in size but large in amusement; you will always find spectacular local heritage, a live event, a wide range of cuisine and locally owned stores.
