Senior Landscape Designer (Sales) Hutten Land & Shore Owen Sound, ON $35–$45+/hour + commission $5,000 relocation assistance available Design spaces that bring people closer to nature. And you know how to guide clients through the process of bringing their vision to life. As a Senior Landscape Designer (Sales), you are responsible for leading clients through the full design and sales process — from initial consultation and concept design through proposals and project handoff. You combine creative design expertise with strong client relationships and sales performance. This role blends design leadership, client experience, and revenue generation. What You’ll Be Responsible For Concept & Detail Design Design custom residential landscapes that balance creativity, function, and constructability Prepare detailed landscape plans, planting designs, and construction drawings Develop compelling 3D renderings and visual presentations Ensure designs align with client budgets, site conditions, and local bylaws Collaborate with the construction team to ensure designs translate successfully to the build phase Sales & Client Experience Lead clients through the full design and decision-making process Build trust through strong listening, clear communication, and professional guidance Present design concepts and construction proposals with confidence Participate in achieving team design and sales targets Ensure clients feel supported and excited throughout the design process Consulting & Opportunity Development Respond to incoming design inquiries and qualify project opportunities Conduct site visits, measure properties, and document site conditions Identify creative solutions to site challenges and shoreline conditions Provide professional guidance on design services and project scope Collaborate with the design team to refine opportunities and solutions Proposals & Project Handoff Prepare design takeoffs and construction proposals with the estimating team Ensure pricing and proposals align with company guidelines Clearly communicate design intent and project scope to the project management team Provide detailed handoffs to ensure smooth project execution What Success Looks Like Designs that inspire clients and translate successfully to construction Strong proposal close rates and design revenue performance Clear communication and collaboration between design and construction teams Clients who feel heard, excited, and confident in the design process Projects that reflect Hutten’s standards of craftsmanship and creativity Who This Role Is Perfect For You naturally guide clients through a creative process You combine design talent with practical construction knowledge You are detail-oriented and highly organized You enjoy building relationships and earning client trust You are motivated by results and performance goals You thrive in a collaborative, high-performing team environment You want to grow your career in a company that values leadership and development Why Hutten Land & Shore?
