Job details
Mission: Turn governed data into trusted analytics, dashboards, and self-service reporting for the business. Key responsibilities: Build and maintain semantic/reporting layers, curated data marts, and reusable metric definitions. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in the organization's BI tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Sigma). Partner with business analysts and domain SMEs to translate requirements into consistent, well-defined metrics. Establish a single source of truth for business definitions and enforce data-quality standards in reporting. Enable self-service by building certified datasets, documentation, and light-touch training for business users. Monitor dashboard performance and usage, retiring stale content and optimizing high-traffic reports. Typical qualifications: 3+ years in BI/analytics engineering Strong SQL and data-visualization skills Hands-on experience with a major BI platform and dimensional modelling Experience with dbt or a semantic-layer tool a plus Excellent communication Key skills: SQL, data visualization, semantic/metric modelling, BI platform expertise, requirements gathering, data storytelling. This role operates under a hybrid work model and requires employees to work from the office a minimum of two days per week.
