Experienced Cyber Security Project Manager with 10+ years of expertise leading enterprise cybersecurity and IT projects. Proven track record of delivering security initiatives including cloud security, IAM, SIEM, vulnerability management, compliance, and risk mitigation programs. Skilled in managing project lifecycles, budgets, cross-functional teams, vendors, and executive stakeholders. Key Accountabilities: Lead end-to-end cybersecurity projects from planning to implementation. Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and resources. Drive initiatives related to cloud security, IAM, SOC, SIEM, DLP, and Zero Trust. Ensure compliance with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and PCI-DSS. Coordinate with security teams, business stakeholders, and vendors. Provide executive reporting and project governance oversight. Develop and manage all aspects of the Projects as assigned using project management methodologies and industry best practices. Manage and maintain through MS Project Plans, RACI, RAID for issues, track risk mitigation. Negotiate and manage project deliverables, schedules, timelines, and costs from concept to deployment and business readiness. Communicate to all stakeholders on project progress against designed plan, requirements, quality measures, compliance with processes, highlight risks and issues, drive resolution and escalate when required to resolve issues, variances and develop actions plans to manage changes or issues. Accountable for budget tracking and reporting for individual projects. Responsible for contract negotiations and contract management with external third parties Manage vendor and external resource deliverables, commitments, and communication. Ideal Candidate Profile: 10+ years of project management experience in IT and cybersecurity. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Requires thorough and demonstrated knowledge of project management and methodologies to deliver on time, on budget, on spec for telecommunications focused projects. Requires experience in all aspects of telecommunications and information management in a telecommunications environment. Knowledge of telecom related engineering and computer applications of equipment and data base management systems. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills in English. Proven ability to translate complex data into manageable and useful insights. Professionalism, positive attitude, and the ability to work well with diverse perspectives are keys to success in this position. Ability to lead multiple work streams or project teams to execute against an existing project. Knowledge requirements: Strong understanding of security domain concepts, governance, risk, change management, communication planning, Training coordination. PMP, CISSP, CISM, or similar certifications preferred. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. This is a hybrid position requiring the successful candidate to work on-site in Etobicoke a minimum of two (2) days per week
