Job summary

Hyfluence is looking for a senior Applications Engineer to play a key and central role at the intersection of our company's engineering, sales, project management and field operations teams. Key Responsibilities Work with customers to understand technical, operational, and site requirements and help develop appropriate equipment solutions. Support preparation of technical and commercial proposals, quotations, equipment specifications, and customer presentations. Coordinate technical information between customers and internal engineering teams during the proposal and project development stages. Support business development activities, including customer meetings, opportunity development, proposal follow-up, technical discussions and marketing events. Coordinate customer site-readiness activities, including installation requirements, utilities, interfaces, schedules, documentation, and outstanding action items. Support planning and coordination of equipment delivery, installation, commissioning, and customer acceptance. Participate in project and customer meetings, track action items, and ensure technical and commercial commitments are addressed. Provide ongoing technical and customer support for deployed equipment. Help improve proposal tools, application guidelines, customer documentation, and internal sales-to-project handoff processes. Qualifications Engineering degree or engineering technology background, preferably mechanical, chemical, electrical, or a related discipline. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex equipment and communicate technical information clearly. Strong organizational, written communication, and customer-facing skills. Ability to manage multiple opportunities and projects simultaneously. Experience with industrial equipment or engineered systems is required. Experience with hydrogen fueling or hydrogen systems is highly desirable. Experience in applications engineering, technical sales, project engineering, or customer-facing engineering is an asset. The ideal candidate combines technical capability with strong customer and organizational skills and enjoys working at the intersection of engineering, business development, and project execution. This position supports hybrid work, with a minimum of three in-office days per week. Occasional travel may be required.
