Hypertec is seeking a Corporate Financial Analyst to join our Finance & Accounting team in Montreal, Quebec. Our values reflect the mindset we bring to everything we do: * Innovation * Trust * Entrepreneurship * Customer Focus What You’ll Be Contributing: * Consolidate monthly financial results of Hypertec Group entities, including foreign currency translation and intercompany eliminations * Build, maintain, and improve financial models and templates using Vena Solutions and other financial tools to support month end, budgeting and forecasting * Conduct comprehensive financial analyses for internal and external reporting packages (MD&A, quarterly stakeholder reports), including variance analysis, trend analysis, and other key performance insights * Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations * Extract, transform, and interpret financial data from multiple systems (SAP, Vena, etc.) to create meaningful insights for decision-making * Support the external audit process, including the preparation of annual financial statements and necessary supporting documentation * Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial reporting, leveraging financial systems and other automation tools * Participate in ad hoc projects and analyses as required to support business objectives What Sets You Apart: * Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA designation an asset * 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and analysis * Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis * Strong understanding of financial consolidation in a multi-entity environment, including foreign exchange translation * Experience with financial reporting and consolidation systems (e.g., Vena, Adaptive Insights) is an asset * Strong knowledge of ERP systems; knowledge of SAP Business One an asset * Experience with Power BI is an asset * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in French * Must be able to address multiple issues in a high-paced, rapidly changing environment, requiring effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines * Ability to work independently and proactively improve processes What’s In it For You: * Hybrid work model (3 days a week in office), supported by competitive benefits. * Comprehensive health benefits that ensure you and your family are covered for a wide range of medical needs. * Health Spending Account (HSA). * Employer-matched RRSP Program. * Paid Floater Days. * Our head office will soon relocate to a new, state-of-the-art facility in LaSalle, near the Lachine Canal.
