IAMGOLD is seeking an experienced and collaborative HR Business Partner, Operations to support the successful execution of strategic growth initiatives, including the advancement of the Nelligan Project. Based in Québec City, this role serves as a trusted partner to project and operational leaders, ensuring human resources strategies, programs, and practices are aligned with business objectives and workforce needs. Working closely with operational leadership and HR colleagues, the HR Business Partner will provide guidance on workforce planning, recruitment, organizational design, employee integration, and change management initiatives. This role will contribute to the development and implementation of HR programs and practices that support project growth, operational readiness, and long-term business success, while helping leaders navigate a dynamic and evolving environment. The HR Business Partner will lead recruitment activities for growth projects in partnership with the Corporate Talent Acquisition team, developing sourcing strategies for critical positions and building strong relationships with external partners, including recruitment agencies, educational institutions, and local communities. The role will also support IAMGOLD’s domestic and international mobility programs, acting as a key resource for internal stakeholders and external service providers while identifying opportunities to improve processes and employee experience. We’re looking for a strategic HR professional with 8 to 10 years of progressive human resources experience, including significant experience in an HR business partner capacity. Experience supporting growth projects, construction, or start-up environments within mining, industrial, manufacturing, or natural resource sectors is strongly preferred. Success in this role requires strong business acumen, sound judgment, effective communication skills, and the ability to build credibility and influence across all levels of the organization. Bilingualism in English and French is required. Requirements
