Iconic Power Systems is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Construction Administrator to support our Construction team in Eastern Canada. Reporting to the Director of Construction, Eastern Canada, this role plays a critical part in ensuring projects are supported through effective administration, documentation management, permit coordination, reporting, onboarding, and assisting with field operations support. Location: 1 open position in Essex, ON and 1 open position in Huntsville, ON Summary To assist the Construction Manager, Construction Operations Supervisors, and Field Staff in the administration of project related matters which may include but not be limited to documentation preparation/creation, assist with daily project planning and execution, record, and document retention, and permitting. They require strong communication and organization skills with excellent attention to detail. Qualifications * High school diploma * 1-2 years in an administrative position * 1-2 year’s experience in Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft projects. * Previous construction and site administrative experience will be considered an asset. Skills * Demonstrated knowledge of health and safety practices and procedures in a safety focused workplace. * Excellent organization and planning skills. There are multiple client reporting formats in a dynamic work environment. * Proficient communication and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders. Duties * Ensure that the Construction Manager, Construction Operations Supervisors, and field employees have all necessary documentation for construction execution. * Attend meetings, record minutes, and distribute as needed. * Data entry for needed for tracking progress on Construction delivery. * Assist with the onboarding of new Construction personnel. * Assist with any HSE/Quality/Construction initiatives undertaken while the Construction delivers on contract obligations. * Monitoring and tracking equipment rentals. * Develop and submit required permits e.g., street use, excavation, locates etc. * Support the Construction Manager, Construction Operations Supervisor, management team and Field teams to ensure that all necessary client and company policies and procedures are implemented and followed.
