🚨 We're Hiring | Financial Analyst – IFRS, Reporting & Advisory 📍 Location: Toronto, ON 📅 Contract: Up to 18 Months We are recruiting for an experienced Financial Analyst – IFRS, Reporting & Advisory to join a well-established organization in Toronto. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accounting professional with expertise in IFRS, external financial reporting, technical accounting research, and accounting policy development. Key Responsibilities: Prepare IFRS-compliant financial statements and disclosures. Research and interpret IFRS standards for complex accounting transactions. Provide technical accounting guidance and support accounting policy development. Prepare technical accounting memos, position papers, and recommendations. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting activities. Coordinate internal and external audits, including year-end audit requirements. Assist with journal entries, variance analysis, and financial reporting. Support process improvements and financial reporting initiatives. What We're Looking For: Strong hands-on experience with IFRS/IAS and external financial reporting. Experience preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS, preferably within the retail sector. Proven experience with technical accounting research, accounting memos, and policy documentation. Strong understanding of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR). Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills. Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and Power BI is an asset. CPA/CA designation preferred. Requirements

Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, knowledge of ICFR, and strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities are sought; CPA/CA is preferred, while SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and Power BI are assets.
