Job Description Summary of primary job functions The Forklift Operator will be responsible for the shipping, receiving and warehouse portions of the plant. They will be responsible for communications between the Carriers and the Order Center to ensure efficient scheduling of inbound and outbound traffic through Outlook and Open Dock Duties and responsibilities Shipping and Receiving · Communicates with all Drivers on the dock and yard. · Ensures Safety rules and protocols are followed by all Drivers. · Creates, Prints and ensures Drivers sign Bill of Lading for all Shipments. · Confirms Accuracy of all outbound loads. · Maintains daily Schedule for all inbound and outbound traffic. · Co-ordinates with the Order Center as needed. · Physical receiving of all Production, Plant and Maintenance materials. · Maintains Dock cleanliness. Inventory · Completes cycle counts as required ensure accuracy of inventory & raw material. Warehouse · Organize Raw materials and Finished products following FIFO standards. · Maintain warehouse cleanliness. Other Duties · Places Tarps on top of the load when required. · Using Fall Protection, unroll and layout tarps over the load when required. · Loads and unloads all deliveries and receiving for the plant when required. · All other assigned duties. Qualifications · 2+ years Forklift experience with current forklift license. · 2+ years Shipping and Receiving experience including Loading and Offloading. · Ability to flex time as required. Hours of Work · 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Monday – Friday. · All scheduled shipping days required by Corporate office Benefits of Employment: IKO recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
