SOMMAIRE Sous la supervision du gestionnaire, vous serez responsable de veiller au respect des exigences environnementales liées aux opérations pétrolières et de transport de la FCNQ et de ses filiales, ainsi qu’à toutes autres activités régies par les normes environnementales. Vous serez également responsable de la mise en place d’un programme de formation visant à sensibiliser tous les intervenants directement ou indirectement liés à la prévention environnementale. RESPONSABILITÉS · Assurer la conformité environnementale des opérations locales et des projets. · Effectuer des audits et inspections pour garantir le respect des normes. · Coordonner les dossiers environnementaux avec les départements et autorités gouvernementales. · mettre à jour des plans d’urgence et organiser des exercices de simulation. · Développer et mettre en œuvre des politiques pour la gestion des déchets dangereux. · Élaborer et dispenser des formations (mesures d’urgence, TMD, SIMDUT, etc.). · Soutenir les équipes opérationnelles pour l’application des normes environnementales. CONDITIONS DE TRAVAIL · Du lundi au vendredi, 35 heures; · Travailler selon un horaire irrégulier - occasionnellement · Déplacement dans les communautés du Nunavik et Schefferville, 10 semaines par année. Job Summary Under the supervision of the Manager, you will ensure compliance with environmental requirements for petroleum and transport operations of FCNQ and its subsidiaries. You will also implement a training program to educate stakeholders on environmental prevention. RESPONSIBILITIES · Ensure environmental compliance of operations and projects. · Perform audits and inspections to guarantee standards are met. · Coordinate environmental files with departments and government authorities. · Update emergency plans and organize simulation exercises. · Develop and implement policies for hazardous waste management. · Design and deliver training (emergency measures, TDG, WHMIS, etc.). · Support operational teams in applying environmental standards. WORK CONDITIONS • Monday to Friday, 35 hours/week •The job occasionally requires working irregular hours and travel to various communities within Nunavik and Schefferville. Up to 10 weeks of travel per year. • Up to 10 weeks of travel per year (paid travel package) Profil EXIGENCES • Baccalauréat en études environnementales ou domaine connexe • Minimum 2 ans d’expérience dans un rôle similaire • Bilingue français/anglais (Inuktitut, un atout) REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies or related field • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role • Bilingual French/English (Inuktitut is an asset)
