Job summary
Job Title: Data Designer / Data Steward Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid) Job Description We are seeking a Data Designer / Data Steward to support data governance and data management initiatives while working closely with business and technology stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of data governance practices, metadata management, privacy and compliance processes, and experience working in Agile delivery environments. Key Responsibilities Support and maintain Data Governance Frameworks (DAF). Manage metadata and ensure data quality and consistency. Support privacy and compliance processes related to data management. Work within Agile delivery methodologies to support project execution. Manage JIRA boards, backlogs, and related activities. Support workspace and migration readiness processes. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across business and technology teams. Identify, manage, and resolve issues, risks, and escalations. Facilitate effective communication and coordination across stakeholders. Required Skills & Experience Strong understanding of Data Governance Frameworks (DAF). Strong understanding of Metadata Management. Strong understanding of Privacy and Compliance Processes. Experience working with Agile Delivery Methodologies. Experience using JIRA and managing backlogs. Knowledge of Workspace and Migration Readiness processes. Proven experience managing cross-functional stakeholders across business and technology domains. Strong issue resolution, risk management, and escalation management skills. Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership abilities.
