Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular, and design and integrate secure RESTful APIs. Implement and troubleshoot microservices and distributed applications, support CI/CD and containerized deployments, and monitor application performance and logs.

Java Full Stack Developer Location: Montreal, QC (Onsite) Duration: 6-12 Months contract with possible extension Key Responsibilities and Competencies 2+ years of relevant experience Develop full-stack applications using Java on the backend and JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, and Angular on the frontend. Work with Java 17 and/or Java 21, Maven/Gradle, and Spring Boot. Develop and maintain frontend applications using Angular 8, Angular 10, or later versions, preferably Angular 17. Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs. Implement application security using Spring Security and JWT or OAuth2. Work with cloud-based databases, including Neo4j graph database and PostgreSQL. Implement microservices and debug distributed applications in a Linux environment. Apply data structures, algorithms, software design principles, design patterns, and architecture concepts. Perform troubleshooting and provide application development support. Work with CI/CD tools such as GitLab and Jenkins. Use Git/Gerrit for version control. Monitor application metrics using Prometheus and Grafana, and manage logs using ELK/EFK Stack. Work with Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and Spinnaker. Good to Have Experience with Linux and Unix systems. Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito. Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, and Cypress. Familiarity with IntelliJ IDEA for backend development and Visual Studio Code for frontend development. Experience with Free and Open-Source Software (FOSS) and license handling. Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile software development environment. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
