Job summary

Develop and maintain imaging pipelines for dewarping, stitching, calibration, and noise reduction using C/C++. Optimize and deploy AI models on edge hardware, including Nvidia Jetson and Qualcomm platforms, to improve vision-system performance and accuracy.

Job details

At Immervision, we push the boundaries of computational imaging and wide-angle vision — and we're looking for a senior developer who thrives at the intersection of deep image processing and applied AI. What you'll work on This isn't your typical imaging role. You'll be contributing to a truly one-of-a-kind product — a technology that only a handful of teams in the world are building. At Immervision, innovation isn't a buzzword; it's the core of what we do every day. You'll tackle genuinely hard, unsolved problems at the cutting edge of computational imaging and Edge AI, with real impact on how the world sees and interprets visual information. Concretely, you'll own the full stack of imaging intelligence: from low-level C/C++ pipelines (dewarping, stitching, calibration, noise reduction) to deploying optimized AI models on edge hardware like Nvidia Jetson and Qualcomm platforms. If you get excited about making vision systems faster, smarter, and more accurate — this role is for you. You're a strong fit if you have: Imaging depth — geometric projections, colorimetric correction, Fourier transforms, real-time rendering AI/ML fluency — PyTorch/TensorFlow, model optimization (quantization, pruning, TensorRT/ONNX), end-to-end MLOps Embedded expertise — Qualcomm, ARM, Jetson Orin/Xavier, algorithm optimization for constrained architectures Solid engineering — C/C++, Python, unit testing, multi-architecture portability (x86/ARM) Bonus points for: camera calibration, optical simulation (Zemax/CodeV), SLAM/3D reconstruction, Unity rendering, camera hardware & driver development (sensor, SoC, BSP), published research, or patent contributions. What we offer Comprehensive group insurance, generous vacation that grows with seniority, and a hybrid work environment — with a preference for candidates based near Montréal being able to work at the office. M.Sc. or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Signal Processing, Computer Vision, or related field Fluency in French and English required Security clearance required — This position requires eligibility to obtain a Canadian government security clearance, which typically involves Canadian citizenship or permanent residency, as well as a verifiable background history. Immervision is committed to an inclusive and equitable workplace. We welcome applications from all qualified candidates. Interested? We'd love to hear from you. #ComputerVision #EdgeAI #ImagingEngineering #MachineLearning #Hiring #Montréal #EmbeddedSystems
