What You Will Do You'll work within our Facilities Engineering team alongside experienced professionals, receiving direct coaching and mentorship from Professional Engineers, and contributing to projects that drive real results and add value to the business. Through hands-on experiences, you'll strengthen your professional capabilities while gaining a deeper understanding of industry operations. You'll also gain exposure to the day-to-day work of full-time engineers, scientists, and experienced professionals giving you a sense of what a career at Imperial looks like. Examples of assignments may include: Management of Change projects involving engineering design for facilities modifications and enhancements (piping, pipelines, instrumentation, controls, rotating equipment etc.) Work within a multidisciplinary group of operations and technical personnel to optimize plant production and resolve process issues Direct support to Operations and Maintenance in reviewing technical requests for information including changes, repairs & alterations of equipment, assessment of pressure relief path analysis when removing relief devices from service, replacement in kind of equipment and troubleshooting equipment issues Perform regular process surveillance of area driven KPI’s and troubleshooting, provide recommendations to Operations for optimization opportunities Implement industry code and design practices into engineered design / packages About You We're hiring students for January or May 2027 student/co-op opportunities.
