Position Summary THE MATERIAL HANDLER / LIFT TRUCK OPERATOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SAFE AND EFFICIENT HANDLING OF MATERIALS WITHIN A FAST-PACED MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT. THIS INCLUDES OPERATING VARIOUS TYPES OF LIFT TRUCKS TO MOVE, LOAD, UNLOAD, AND STACK GOODS IN WAREHOUSES, PRODUCTION, AND SHIPPING/RECEIVING AREAS. THE ROLE SUPPORTS INVENTORY CONTROL, MATERIAL TRACKING, AND ENSURES THAT PRODUCTION LINES ARE SUPPLIED IN A TIMELY AND ACCURATE MANNER. A FOCUS ON SAFETY, ACCURACY, AND COLLABORATION WITH CROSS-FUNCTIONAL TEAMS IS ESSENTIAL TO SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE. ABOUT YOU At our company, we are looking for exceptional individuals who can meet the following criteria: * Work rotating shifts * Ability to lift, bend, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods * Work both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions * Handle physically demanding tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment * Follow instructions accurately and maintain focus on safety * Work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE * Education - Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) * Experience – Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment * Lift truck/forklift experience KNOWLEDGE * Safe material handling procedures and warehouse operations * Lift truck operation and routine equipment checks * Inventory systems, barcode scanning, and basic documentation practices * Workplace safety protocols and PPE requirements SKILLS * Proficient operation of lift trucks and related equipment * Attention to detail in inventory movement and placement * Basic computer skills (Microsoft programs, scanning tools) * Strong organizational and time management skills * Effective verbal communication and coordination with teams If you meet the above requirements and are ready to take on exciting challenges, we invite you to join our dynamic team!
