Assist with material handling, equipment operation, and general shop duties while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality. Skill/Effort Requirements Organizational skills Initiative-taking Problem solving Communication skills Ability to follow instructions and work safely independently or as part of a team. Strong work ethic and reliability Responsibilities Assist with loading and unloading raw materials and finished products. Move materials throughout the facility using manual methods or equipment (e.g., electric handcart, jib cranes – certification) Support machine operators and production staff as needed. Perform basic assembly, grinding, deburring and finished tasks. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area. Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements. Conduct visual quality inspections of parts. Assist with packaging and preparing products for shipment. Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or quality defects to supervisors. Perform other general labour duties as assigned Working Conditions Industrial manufacturing environment Exposure to heat, noise, heavy equipment, and moving machinery. Required use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive movements required. Rotating Shifts: Days and Afternoons

Supports daily production activities including material handling, equipment operation, and basic assembly tasks. Maintains work area cleanliness and conducts visual quality inspections of parts to ensure manufacturing standards.

Requires a strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to follow safety instructions independently or in a team. Candidates must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing in an industrial environment.
