The Associate Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing, treatment planning, and performing a variety of dental procedures, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care across all age groups, including pediatrics. Responsibilities Conduct thorough dental examinations and develop individualized treatment plans. Perform a wide range of dental procedures, including restorations, surgery, extractions, root canals, crowns, and preventive care. Provide gentle, patient-centered care for pediatric patients, adults and seniors with age-appropriate communication. Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation using electronic health record systems such as Tracker. Educate patients on oral health, treatment options, and post treatment care instructions. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive patient experience. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards to maintain a safe environment for patients and team members. Stay current with advancements in dentistry through ongoing continuing education and professional development. Qualifications Registered, licensed, and in good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (R.C.D.S.O) Strong knowledge of dental procedures, materials, equipment, and relevant medical terminology. Prior experience in a dental practice setting is highly desirable. (5 years) Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with patients of all ages, including children. Demonstrated empathy, compassion, professionalism, and a patient first mindset. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative, fast paced team. Commitment to delivering high quality clinical care while utilizing modern dental technology. Strong communication skills Friendly bedside manners Valid CPR / BLS certification Nitrous / General Anesthesia is a strong asset Laser dentistry (Biolaser) is a strong asset Tracker is an asset Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is an asset Availability on Saturday is desired.
