Job Location North York, ON About the Role The Accounting Manager will be responsible for financial statements, journal entries, asset management, and overseeing the accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger. This position is ideal for a hands-on accounting leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Duties and Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable Prepare and review financial statements (on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis) Manage the month-end and year-end close processes and reports accordingly Partners and coordinates with external auditors and support audit activities Supervise and mentor accounting employees Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Skills Possess 3-5 years’ prior similar accounting experience Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field Fluency in Microsoft Office Products, including Outlook, Excel and Word and other tools used to analyze large volumes of data Knowledge of Fixed Assets management Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a team and independently Excellent communication and leadership abilities Qualifications Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without restrictions CPA designation or equivalent certification is a requirement and will be considered a strong asset Expertise using various accounting software’s (knowledge of NetSuite preferred) Total Rewards Package Annual Bonus Extended Health Care – Health, Dental and Vision Group Benefits Coverage Employee Assistance Program Life and AD&D Insurance Wellness Program Tuition Reimbursement Program Corporate Fitness Membership Discounts Paid Time Off Opportunities Company Events On-site Parking Recruitment Process We thank you all for all applications, however only selected candidates will be contacted; This job opening is for an existing vacancy; During the recruitment process, partial AI supported tools may be used, but applications; will be reviewed by the hiring team.
