Job Overview We are looking for an experienced *Indian Cook* to join our takeout restaurant team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience preparing authentic Indian dishes, maintaining food quality, and working efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities * Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes, including curries, biryanis, tandoori items, snacks, and South Indian dishes if applicable * Maintain consistency in taste, portion, and presentation * Prepare ingredients, sauces, marinades, and daily mise en place * Ensure cleanliness and food safety standards are followed * Monitor stock levels and inform management about inventory requirements * Work efficiently during busy service hours * Assist with menu development and special dishes * Maintain kitchen equipment and cleanliness Requirements * Minimum *1?2 years experience* as an Indian cook or similar role * Knowledge of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and traditional recipes * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Team player with a positive attitude * Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards * Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Pay: $16.20-$18.00 per hour Work Location: In person
