Job summary

Edmonton We seek a motivated, analytical, team-oriented individual with strong communication and organizational skills. The successful candidate will be key in ICWA administration, and Program Coordination. This role is a permanent part-time position. Key Responsibilities Managing phones, mail, bills, and other administration-related tasks including Tracking the annual Inventory, Website updates and IT-related matters Corresponding with the accountant for payroll & other banking assistance, Petty cash and expense report management Coordinating ICWA program: youth, seniors and women and ECALA as required, and referring clients to services, programs, and classes. Assisting in writing grant proposals and managing program budgets and final reports for ICWA funders as required. Providing office support for the Executive Director, Board of Directors and ICWA’s programs and projects as required. Managing communications -Membership tracking and regular communications with membership, Annual reports and Newsletters. Overseeing ICWA documentation -Records keeping digitally and compliance with provincial requirements, including filing business license renewals, property tax exemptions, 211 listing updates, and annual returns. Assisting with ICWA events and special events as required Assist in recruitment, training and supervision of volunteers. Carries out other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (post-graduate preferred) in relevant field of study (e.g. administration/management, social sciences, humanities) and related work experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working in a non-for-profit organization. Fluency in English and Hindi (proficiency in other South Asian languages is considered an asset). Experience in supervising, developing and mentoring staff. Effective writing, public speaking and presentation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows.
