Job summary

Role : Infra PM Location : Montreal, QC Contract Role The purpose of this job is to serve as a Project Manager assisting the Service Centre Project Manager for IT infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Prepare effort estimate, define scope, cost and schedule Coordinate and track hardware/software procurement and delivery Ensure process adherence for all phases of a project Prepare project plans Host project status meetings Track and follow up on pending action items Keep meeting minutes Coordinate with all stakeholders (internal and external) of a project Prepare BCP Plans and conduct BCP/DR drills activities Manage multiple projects Manage large implementation teams Prepare and review implementation plans Ensure project performance expectations are met with service levels and quality Monitor and track project provisioning and actual efforts Raise/escalate any issues and risks to all stakeholders and leadership for any impact on projects. Provide necessary communication and progress update to all stakeholders on critical projects. Prepare project dashboards. Understand business requirements and design solutions accordingly Maintain all project documentation Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications Graduate or postgraduate in Technology with Computers or Information Technology (IT) stream. Or A degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering or a related qualification. PMP, PgMP or equivalent program management certification preferred Preferred Qualifications/ Skills Project Management: Comprehensive oversight of projects from initiation to completion, encompassing planning, execution, monitoring, and closing. Implementation Team Management: Leading and guiding teams responsible for the successful execution of project implementations. Project Driving & Coordination: The capability to actively drive projects, coordinate various activities, and ensure their successful delivery. Planning & Scheduling: Expertise in developing detailed implementation plans, accurate effort estimations, and effective project scheduling. Technology Stack & IT Landscape Understanding: A solid grasp of current technology stacks and the broader IT landscape. IT Infrastructure Expertise: General knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including OS, Databases, Middleware, Storage, Hardware, Networks, IT Security, and Virtualization, coupled with troubleshooting skills. System Expertise: In-depth technical and system knowledge pertinent to relevant IT workstreams. Project management and capability to drive project and manage an implementation team Organizational, interpersonal and documentation skills Understanding of the latest technology stack and IT landscape Excellent written and verbal communication skills Effort estimation and scheduling for projects Put together implementation plans for project activities Must have good analytical skills High energy, self-starter, results driven, motivated individual with strong interpersonal skill Should be a team player Able to work under minimal supervision Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and troubleshooting
