Job summary
Role: Java Delivery Lead Location: Toronto, ON (Initially 4 Days Onsite) Type: Long Term Contract Job Description: We are looking for a seasoned Java Delivery Lead to drive the design and development of scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java technologies, client-facing communication, and managing distributed development teams across onshore and offshore locations. Key Responsibilities: Lead Java-based development projects, ensuring high performance and scalable design. Work directly with clients to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Mentor developers and conduct code reviews to maintain coding standards. Coordinate tasks and delivery across onshore and offshore teams. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software aligned with business goals. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and execution. Required Skills: Experience in Java/Spring Boot development. Experience in client interaction and stakeholder management. Strong understanding of microservices, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases. Proven experience in leading distributed teams. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, etc.).
