Infinity Health is seeking an experienced Medical Office Assistant to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta. In this role you’ll play a key part in keeping our office running smoothly by providing support to our healthcare team and ensuring an organized, efficient environment. You will be the first point of contact for patients, supporting clinical staff, and managing electronic medical records. Must be available during evenings and weekends. Role Responsibilities Manage all incoming and outgoing faxes Monitor e-mail and incoming mail - alerting to issues requiring immediate attention Filter calls, determine nature of business, identify priorities and respond appropriately Communicate with Law Firms and respond to Clinical Records Requests Provide administrative support to our team of Therapists Provide support to the Billing Department Follow up with Accounts Receivables/Payables Update our billing software Juvonno, Accuro Qualifications Experience in a medical office/clinic preferred Comfortable with EMR system and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Highly organized, adaptable and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills CPR/First Aid training is an asset
