Senior Mainframe Lead Developer / Architect Location: Toronto, ON, Canada (Hybrid – Minimum 3 days/week onsite) Duration: 13 July 2026 – 31 October 2026 (Extension possible based on client approval) Key Requirements 8+ years of experience in Mainframe application development with strong leadership/architectural expertise. Strong hands-on experience with MVS, TSO, COBOL, JCL, DB2, and IMS DB/DC. Experience with Mainframe utilities and production support. Nice to have experience with Endevor, CA-7, and IBM MQ (MQ Series). Familiarity with collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence. Proven ability to lead development activities, resolve complex technical issues, and provide technical guidance. Strong expertise in application analysis, solution design, development, testing, and production support. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with a strong commitment to quality. Experience in Wire Payments, SWIFT MT, and SWIFT ISO 20022 (MX) messaging is a strong asset.

The Senior Mainframe Lead Developer will lead development activities, resolve complex technical issues, and provide technical guidance. They will also be responsible for application analysis, solution design, development, testing, and production support.

Candidates should have 8+ years of experience in Mainframe application development with strong leadership and architectural expertise. Familiarity with collaboration tools and experience in Wire Payments and SWIFT messaging is a strong asset.
