Direct FBW experience: Directly involved in the definition and certification of at least one Fly-By-Wire and/or Secondary Flight Control system. Systems knowledge: Solid understanding of system definition, integration, and certification, with knowledge of aircraft systems and interfaces (electrical, hydraulic, avionics, auto-flight). Regulatory knowledge: Familiarity with the Part 25 certification process. Language: Fluent in both English and French. Work authorization: Candidate must already have valid legal papers/status to work in Canada in hand. Nice to Have Experience modeling and running dynamic simulation of flight control electrical and hydraulic actuators. Working knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow. Familiarity with other simulation environments (e.g., ADAMS) or design tools (e.g., CATIA). Comfortable with MS Office and requirements management tools.
