THE OPPORTUNITY We are looking for a Service Advisor for our Calgary PacLease location, who is responsible for opening and closing work orders, scheduling work and greeting and interacting with customers in person, over the phone and over effective e-mail communication. The position must possess basic truck knowledge and a sound understanding of service contract coverage and an ability to develop estimates. The incumbent will be tasked with using specific company software to look up, order, and bill parts to repair orders, as well as provide oversite to the parts room and parts inventory. The position Manages warranty claims which involves creating, filling, updating coding, and accurately documenting all warranty claims and related information. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES * Discuss repair requirements, open repair orders and ensure all paperwork is completed promptly and correctly * Responsible for adhering to well established operating procedures * Discuss repair requirements and answer inquiries from our customers * Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders towards providing first class service * Responsible to look up and order parts for repairs completed in the service area, as well as manage parts room in accordance to company protocols * Gather warranty information for status reports, submit to suppliers, and maintain a systematic filing system for documentation WHAT WE LOOK FOR The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of * A High school diploma * A minimum of 2 (two) years’ of experience as a Service Advisor * Parts or Warranty experience considered an asset * Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills * Excellent computer skills * Proven ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, paired with exceptional organizational skills Shift This is a permanent Full-Time position. Wednesday to Saturday, 10/hour work days.
