Join our expanding team at Inner Trailheads. We guide individuals (16+) from a state of stuckness or distress toward healing, personal growth, and self-discovery. Our counselling and coaching practice is committed to moving beyond symptom management to fostering lasting change. We specialize in a person-centred approach that combines evidence-based practices with radical pragmatism to best serve our clients. Our team is committed to helping clients break free from patterns that keep them stuck, heal from trauma, and build deeper connections with themselves and others. What We Offer A supportive team environment that values personal and professional growth. Flexible working hours, with the option to create your own work schedule either in person or virtually, ranging from 10 to 25 clinical hours per week. Competitive compensation with a transparent 60/40 split in favour of the clinician with the starting pay range at $80 per clinical hour with potential for negotiation based on specialization and experience. Individual and peer consultation, as well as opportunities for ongoing learning and growth. Support to get started in private practice, including referrals, marketing, office space, documentation software (Jane App). Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) and registration in good standing with the OCSWSSW. At least two years of postgraduate experience in a role providing psychotherapy to individuals or groups. Postgraduate training in at least one bottom-up approach to trauma-centred therapy (IFS, SE, AEDP, or EMDR). Familiarity with other evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, EFT, and Narrative Therapy. Ability to work evenings, in person and/or virtually. Warmth and strong interpersonal skills for building therapeutic and collegial relationships. Ability to acquire your own professional liability insurance. Neurodivergence-affirming, queer- and trans-affirming, and anti-racist in orientation. Additional Strengths While the role is hybrid, offering either in-person or virtual sessions with clients, preference will be given to those within commuting distance of the Waterloo Region. Proficiency in case conceptualization, client-centred treatment planning, and clear progress notes, while remaining adaptable to clients’ needs. Dedication to personal and professional growth to deepen your knowledge and experience your own therapeutic healing. Couples therapy training (Imago, Gottman, and/or IFIO) and a passion for helping partners strengthen connection, communication, and relational resilience. Previous training, personal experience, or interest in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy and psychedelic integration coaching/therapy. Requirements

Requires a Master of Social Work degree, good-standing registration with the OCSWSSW, at least two years of postgraduate psychotherapy experience, and postgraduate training in a bottom-up trauma therapy approach. Candidates should be familiar with evidence-based modalities, able to work evenings, carry professional liability insurance, and provide affirming, anti-racist care.
