Occupational Therapist

WE'RE HIRING: Community-Based Occupational Therapists (MVC / SABS Sector) Are you an Occupational Therapist (OT) who loves the independence of community-based practice and wants strong clinical support, as well as control over your schedule? Community rehab can sometimes feel isolating. At ICM we’ve intentionally built a practice that includes OT and case management mentorship in a working environment where questions are not only welcomed but wanted, and where different perspectives and solutions are valued. Successful applicants will have the following responsibilities, amongst others that may arise: - Conduct comprehensive in-home, community, and job site assessments for clients recovering from motor vehicle accidents - Formulate and implement goal-oriented, evidence-based rehabilitation plans - Complete SABS documentation (including Form 1s, OCF-18s, and progress reports) with the backing of our review team - Collaborate with insurers, personal injury lawyers, and multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams to address your client's recovery needs - Prescribe assistive devices, implement cognitive rehabilitation, and design return-to-work or school transition plans Qualifications Demonstrated competence in Occupational Therapy, including assessment, intervention planning, and client-centered care. Strong Communication skills for working with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams, including education and advocacy. Experience in brain injury and / or spinal cord injury rehabilitation or related clinical settings is an asset. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage time independently, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
