You’ll play a key part in shaping design standards, supporting project execution, and developing talent within the team—all while working closely with Engineering and Operations leadership. What you’ll do: Lead and support the Electrical Design team through daily prioritization, resource planning, and technical guidance Drive design execution from concept through validation, ensuring safety, quality, and performance standards are met Mentor and develop team members, building both technical capability and leadership bench strength Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Controls, and Operations to ensure seamless project delivery Ensure designs meet customer requirements and project commitments on scope, schedule, and quality What We’re Looking For Strong background in industrial automation and electrical design with Proficiency in EPLAN, AutoCAD, Edrawings Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop technical teams Comfortable balancing hands-on problem solving with leadership responsibilities Passion for building robust, practical, buildable designs Minimum Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent Specialized Experience Minimum 5+ Years’ Experience within the Automation or Automotive Manufacturing Field Preference given to candidate holding PEO (Professional Engineers of Ontario) Designation For more information, visit our website at www.innovativeautomation.com. Requirements
Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in automation or automotive manufacturing and proficiency in EPLAN and AutoCAD. A degree or diploma in electrical engineering or equivalent is mandatory.
