Job Description We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician / Flight Apprentice to join our team in Mirabel, Quebec. The successful candidate will support pre-flight maintenance and aircraft preparation activities, working closely with maintenance and flight operations teams to ensure aircraft are safe, serviceable, and ready for flight. This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced aircraft maintenance professional who has completed a flight apprenticeship and is looking to continue developing their hands-on experience in a highly technical aviation environment. AME certification is not required for this position. Candidates must, however, have completed a flight apprenticeship and have a minimum of 3 years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience. Experience working on fighter aircraft or military aviation platforms is considered an asset but is not required. Required Skills & Experience -Ability and willingness to work fully on-site in Mirabel, QC -Shift Work: Day Shift Monday to Friday 6:45am-3:30pm -3+ years of aircraft maintenance experience -Completed a flight apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on flight-line maintenance training -Experience performing aircraft inspections, maintenance, servicing, or troubleshooting -Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance practices, procedures, and technical documentation -Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, safety-critical environment -Bilingual in English and French -Strong attention to detail and commitment to aviation safety -AME certification/license is not required Nice to Have Skills & Experience Experience working on fighter jets or military aircraft Previous experience supporting military or defence aviation programs Experience with pre-flight or flight-line maintenance Familiarity with military aviation maintenance procedures and technical publications Experience working in a highly regulated aviation or aerospace environment Key Responsibilities Perform pre-flight inspections and maintenance activities in accordance with approved procedures and technical documentation Assist with aircraft preparation, servicing, troubleshooting, and defect rectification prior to flight Conduct inspections of aircraft systems, components, and assemblies to identify potential defects or maintenance requirements Complete maintenance documentation, inspection records, and technical reports accurately and in accordance with applicable procedures Support aircraft flight-line and maintenance operations Work closely with licensed AMEs, engineers, maintenance personnel, and flight operations teams Follow all applicable aviation safety, quality, and maintenance procedures Identify and communicate aircraft discrepancies or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel Assist with troubleshooting and corrective maintenance as required Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Perform other aircraft maintenance duties as required Compensation: $30-$50/h (full-time position but paid hourly) Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position.
