Job summary
JOB DESCRIPTION Insight Global is looking for a skilled API Developer to join one our insurance clients, supporting the development of backend applications and enterprise APIs within Azure. This role is heavily focused on hands-on coding and programming, building and maintaining microservices and REST APIs using Java Spring Boot and Node.js while leveraging technologies such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker, Azure Service Bus, and Event Hubs. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience as an API Developer, strong expertise in Azure-based services and API gateways, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable code. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • 8+ years as an API developer using Java springboot and Node.js • Azure services (Azure Kubernetes, Service Bus/Event Hubs) • REST APIs and API gateways • Docker development • Heavily focused on coding and programming NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • Private Networking Basics • Identity/secrets mgmt Please Note We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position.
