Job summary

Insight Global is looking for an HSE Manager for a large construction and technology services company. As a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager (Building Group), you will: Develop policies, strategies, standards, internal controls, technical systems, and tools that help centrally manage risk and improve HSE performance across the organization and its projects. Develop, implement, and maintain an HSE management system that supports compliance with applicable federal, provincial, and local laws, regulations, and codes across all company operations and assets. Support incident reporting and investigations. Compile, analyze, interpret, and report on incident trends to Senior Leaders and the VP, HSE. Support building operations by working closely with Facilities Managers to ensure compliance with applicable HSE laws and regulations, including conducting routine audits. Develop initiatives, programs, and tools that support awareness and strengthen the organization's safety culture. Collaborate with internal teams and business lines to identify best practices and innovative ideas that drive continuous improvement. Build practical, operations-focused tools and procedures that improve safety and compliance. Possess a strong understanding of HSE management systems, standards, and regulatory requirements. Apply technical expertise to drive continuous process improvement while maintaining the highest levels of health, safety, and environmental compliance. Demonstrate strong leadership skills and a desire to contribute to a company with an entrepreneurial spirit and a fast-paced, client-first, results-oriented culture. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Administration. Minimum of 5 years of related experience in construction, safety, environmental, or compliance roles. Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience First Aid Certificate. National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) certification. Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation preferred.
