This candidate will support a busy Labour & Employment practice group by managing legal documentation, coordinating court and client-related schedules, maintaining organized file systems, and ensuring critical deadlines are met. Day-to-Day Draft and transcribe legal documents and general correspondence Coordinate court bookings, hearings, mediations, discoveries, and client meetings Manage files, organize documents, update binders, and maintain filing systems Prepare and maintain bring-forward systems and deadline reminders Open, maintain, and close client files Liaise with Billing Coordinators regarding monthly account production Provide administrative support to the Labour & Employment practice group Complete additional administrative duties as assigned REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Graduate of an accredited Legal Administrative Assistant program 4-8 years of experience as a Legal Assistant in litigation, preferably within Labour & Employment Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook Thorough understanding of litigation legal procedures Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Previous experience with Elite 3E Experience supporting Labour & Employment lawyers within a large law firm environment Experience coordinating court appearances, mediations, discoveries, and hearings Strong billing coordination experience Starting Salary: $70,000 Location: Vancouver, BC Please Note: We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position.
