JOB DESCRIPTION Insight Global is looking for an experienced Operational Risk Consultant to support a risk management function on a contract basis. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on expertise in conducting risk assessments, testing controls, and applying core operational risk concepts in a practical, business‑focused way. This role is suited for someone who can quickly integrate into an existing framework, identify gaps, and strengthen risk practices with minimal oversight. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - 3-5 years of experience within risk management (this can be from either compliance, risk or audit) - Has experience meeting with stakeholders to share controls objectives and request related controls - Has the ability to identify, confirm and document the gaps within current risk processes - Has the ability to assess the risk and controls within entities and business unit functions - Strong knowledge of risk management industry standards and methodologies NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - Has a background in audit or accounting *We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position. *Pay range for this role is between $30/hr - 38/hr CAD. Vacancy: This posting is for a currently vacant role, and the successful candidate will be hired into an existing open position.
