JOB DESCRIPTION Insight Global is seeking a Digital Payload Systems Engineer to support the design, integration, verification, and operational sustainment of next-generation satellite communication and Earth observation systems. This individual will lead digital payload development efforts and serve as a key technical interface between customers, engineering teams, and program stakeholders. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or related field. - 8+ years of satellite systems engineering experience. - Experience with digital payload design and integration for LEO and/or MEO satellite missions. - Strong knowledge of digital communications, SDR, DSP, and satellite networking systems. - Experience with systems engineering, requirements management, verification, and integration activities. - Hands-on troubleshooting and system-level testing experience. - Experience working directly with customers and technical stakeholders. - Proficiency with Jira and Confluence. NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - Experience with phased array antennas or next-generation satellite communications. - Technical leadership or mentoring experience. - French language skills. Compensation: $48/hr to $54/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as short-term and long-term disability, life insurance and AD&D. Employees will also have access to a registered retirement savings account with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
