Job summary
JOB DESCRIPTION Insight Global is looking for PLC Programmers to join a leading automation company. You will be joining the nuclear services team, working on nuclear tooling. The candidate will be responsible for supporting nuclear reactor refurbishments, specifically for a customer in the Ajax area. The first 6-12 months will be onsite in Cambridge to get familiar with the tooling before transitioning to the customer site in Ajax. Responsibilities will include supporting tooling integration, and testing. When at the customer site, the successful candidate will be deploying industry leading tools and working on innovative systems. You will also assist the maintenance crews with resolving issues associated with maintenance and testing of nuclear service tools. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE -5+ years of experience PLC programming within automation -Building code and integrating Siemens TIA -Experience deploying new equipment -Good communication NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE -Nuclear background Please Note We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position.
