SAP PLM Consultant

Insight Global is seeking an SAP PLM Consultant to join a top aerospace company based in Longueuil, QC. This role may be performed on a hybrid/remote basis. Key Responsibilities: Guide and assist the different project teams in the definition and implementation of their business solutions Manage or execute specific project deliverables and scope to ensure project schedules & timelines are respected Articulate proposed solutions in business terms and demonstrate solution effectiveness in meeting business needs; Ensure systems integration within SAP and across suite of core application platforms; Analyze business requirements and translate them into solution specifications; Breakdown the business requirements into comprehensive deliverables and estimate the work effort required to complete them Plans, manages and performs the activities related to detail analysis and design of IT solutions Understand the high level functionality of the different SAP modules and their integration points in the SAP Landscape which include systems such as ECC, GTS, SCM, SRM, SUS, BW, PI, Portal, NWDI & SOLMAN as well as IBP, FSM & Ariba; Lead or participate to specific SAP project with an emphasis on SAP integration and Portal projects REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Experience in the technical implementation of SAP Projects with ABAP systems as well as SAP PI/PO (Process Orchestration), SAP Portal platforms and some SAP SaaS solution such as IBP, FSM or Ariba; Experience with Netweaver ABAP and Java stack Experience with the ABAP development techniques Experience with the SAP web development techniques Experience with the SAP Fiori & SAPUI5 development techniques; Experience with the SAP Cloud deployment Proficiency in business process design and SAP ECC configuration NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE S4hana experience Knowledge of the new SAP development techniques with S/4Hana & BW/4Hana with the new ABAP extension concepts, native application on Hana, restful services, micro services and mobile development Knowledge of the DevOps concepts with the SAP platform using micro service development with cloud foundry and tools such as GitHub, Jenkins & modern testing tools Knowledge of SAP security concepts for ECC, BW, Portal, PI & Hana Compensation: $61/hr to $85/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
