Job summary

Position: Territory Manager Salary: $70,000-$100,000 CAD base + 0.03% and 1.2% multiplier rates for exceeding quota Quota: $5 million Interview Process: 3-Round Interview Process – all virtual Location: Quebec City, Canada – 75% travel Sales Cycle: 6-18 months Deal Sizes: $350K-$1M Summary: Manage a well-established Quebec territory with significant growth potential; current book of business is generating ~$1.5M with a larger $5M opportunity. Responsible for the full sales cycle, including maintaining existing customer relationships and developing new business opportunities. Work with municipal, industrial, and infrastructure customers selling water infrastructure products such as valves, pumps, pipes, hydrants, and metering solutions. Highly customer-facing role that includes site visits, troubleshooting product issues, supporting distributors, and providing technical guidance in the field. Travel approximately 75% of the time, including 2–3 nights per week on the road, 3 weeks per month. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of outside sales experience -- must understand the vast of this territory. Telecom, oil & gas, construction field industries, software services within the utility space, selling hardware w/ piece of software. Anyone that has dealt w/ contractors before (construction, utility, selling telecom) Technical Acumen Bachelor's Degree required in Engineering or technical field Job Description This individual will be a key contributor within the organization's sales department. This position requires regular planned visits to established and new potential accounts for the purpose of securing sales and growing the businesses market share within the assigned territory across all authorized product lines. Attain sales plan objective for Residential, Commercial and AMR/AMI products both through direct accounts and distribution accounts. Perform Solution Selling to sell and secure new accounts and maintain good rapport with existing accounts. Respond to direct account Bid/Request for Proposals, participate in local technical seminars, trade shows and exhibits. Create rapport and business relationships with local engineering firms. Work with and support the distributor(s) within the assigned territory. Account profiling, technical demonstration, training and overall product/market knowledge, assistance with Bid/Request for Proposal response information are required by the Territory Manager. Direct Placement Roles: Compensation: $70,000 to $100,000 CAD per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
